Flipping the Switch: MeCP2‐Mediated Lactylation Rewires Microglial Metabolism and Inflammation via the HK2/mTOR Axis in Poststroke Neuroinflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Stroke‐induced lactate accumulation promotes p300‐mediated lactylation of methyl‐CpG binding protein 2 (MeCP2) at lysine 210, which reprograms microglial metabolism toward glycolysis and activates the hexokinase 2 (HK2)/mTOR axis. This cascade promotes proinflammatory responses and impairs neurofunctional outcomes.

AGGREGATE STABILITY OF AN ULTISOL IN REGIONS OF THE BRAZILIAN AMAZON

open access: yesRevista de Agricultura Neotropical
The aggregate stability is essential for water infiltration, soil aeration and root penetration resistance, impacting water infiltration, moisture retention, soil aeration and root penetration resistance. Inadequate agricultural practices can limit root

CircTspan3 Promotes Cartilage Development Through ANNEXIN A2‐Mediated Ferroptosis and Apoptosis Inhibition and Exosome‐Mediated Paracrine Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that XBP1s drives production of circTspan3, a circular RNA that strengthens cartilage by boosting anabolic activity and limiting cell death. Phosphorylated ANXA2 directs circTspan3 into exosomes, enabling paracrine repair. Exosomal circTspan3 expands growth‐plate cartilage and promotes in vivo regeneration, highlighting its promise ...

Loss of SOCS1 in Donor T Cells Exacerbates Intestinal GVHD by Driving a Chemokine‐Dependent Pro‐Inflammatory Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
T cell‐specific Socs1 knockout leads to inflammatory differentiation of CD8+ T cells, prompting the STAT1/2 complex to drive the activation of Ccl5, Ccr5, and Cxcr3, and promoting the skewing of monocytes toward a pro‐inflammatory M1 macrophage lineage.

Creating a Northern Agriculture. III. Defining Parameters of Agricultural Potential in Alaska [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
Alaska's current land-use planning is characterized by a particular void in providing for future agricultural development. One reason for this void in planning has been a profound lack in identification of production possibilities in most areas of the

Nap1L4a Cooperates with Scl/Klf1 to Recruit H2A.Z in Mediating Interactions Among Cis‐Regulatory Elements and Transcription Required for Primitive Erythropoiesis in Zebrafish

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nap1l4a is required in erythropoiesis and hypoxia responses via physical interaction with Klf1 and Scl to recruit the histone variant H2A.Z. This facilitates its associated cis‐regulatory element (CRE) remodeling and the consequent chromatin assembly, and activates the transcription of erythroid lineage‐specific genes.

Resposta de pastagens perenes à adubação com chorume suíno: pastagem natural Response of perennial pasture to fertilization with pig slurry: natural pasture

Hungry for Knowledge: Octopamine Signaling Regulates Hunger‐Enhanced Olfactory Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Researchers demonstrate that hunger state facilitates both aversive and appetitive olfactory learning. Two distinct octopamine signaling pathways are involved in aversive or appetitive memory formation in the hunger state. And, hunger state also facilitates the formation of both types of memories via an evolutionarily conserved norepinephrine (the ...
