The swelling behavior of natural rubber latex
Abstract The distribution of a swelling agent (methyl methacrylate) among the particles of natural rubber latex has been shown to be nonuniform. Large particles absorb more swelling agent than do small particles. The data are analyzed by means of the thermodynamic treatment of Morton, Kaizerman, and Altier.
