Advanced delivery systems—including nanoparticles, nanoemulsions, liposomes, and hydrogels—protect food‐derived bioactive peptides from gastrointestinal degradation and bitterness. These systems enable pH‐responsive release, enhance intestinal absorption, and improve therapeutic efficacy against oxidative stress, metabolic disorders, cancer, and ...

Liberation of ferulic acid by gut microbial feruloyl esterase mediates cognitive enhancement of germinated quinoa (GQF) on obese mice. Ferulic acid enriched in GQF is released by gut microbes Roseburia hominis and R. intestinalis and subsequently mediates the neuroprotective effects of GQF on obesity‐induced cognitive decline by activating hippocampal ...

This study unveils a novel antibacterial mechanism against MRSA, in which the compound Py‐27 selectively targets and inhibits aspartate transcarbamoylase (ATCase), a key enzyme in pyrimidine synthesis. This inhibition disrupts DNA replication, induces oxidative damage, leading to potent bactericidal activity.

Homogenisation of Vegetation in Irish Semi‐Natural Grasslands
ABSTRACT Grasslands represent an important source of vegetative diversity and provide a range of important ecosystem services. Semi‐natural grasslands in Europe face a variety of threats due to changing management practices and other anthropogenic pressures. This study investigates vegetative changes in 12 semi‐natural grassland sites

Adaptive Responses of Tropical Crops: A Multi‐Scale Omics Integrated Perspective
Tropical crops integrate genomic, morphological, physiological, and ecological adaptations to thrive under extreme and variable environments. This review highlights how natural selection, domestication, and breeding shape stress resilience, resource‐use strategies, and productivity in sugarcane, banana, cassava, rubber and oil palm, offering new routes
