A Perspective on the Applications of Triphasic Gas Storage in Electrochemical Systems
Gas storage in microporous materials positioned locally at an electrode or electrocatalyst surface enhances electrochemical processes. Abstract Microporous materials store gases under dry conditions (e.g., hydrogen or oxygen via physisorption), but in some cases microporous materials also show triphasic (e.g., in a solid|gas|liquid system) gas storage ...

Here, we introduce a molecular design principle that fundamentally expands the bottom‐up synthesis of single‐atom catalysts (SACs). Coordinatively flexible polypyridyl units enable bottom‐up formation of ordered carbonaceous frameworks containing atomically dispersed Ru (∼11 wt%) by simple carbonization.

A New Method for Characterization of Natural Zeolites and Organic Nanostructure using Atomic Force Microscopy [PDF]
In order to study and develop an economic solution to environmental pollution in water, a wide variety of materials were investigated. Natural zeolites emerge from that research as the best in class of this category.

A new photochromic material was developed. Its on/off‐switchable absorption band is situated completely outside the human eye's visibility, in the near‐infrared (NIR) region, a feature never reported before. The photochromism mechanism in this aluminosilicate is elucidated by combining experimental as well as computational results, and the material's ...

The Process Transport of Drying Corn With Mixed-Adsorption Drying [PDF]
Mixed-adsorption drying with adsorptive material such as zeolite is an option to enhance the performance of drying corn. In this case, zeolite and seeds are mixed and fluidized by warm air as drying medium.
