We report the synthesis, structural characterization, and photophysical investigation of a series of Excited‐State Intramolecular Proton Transfer‐active HBO and HDMI derivatives. Passing vehicles generate short‐duration wakes that can be redirected toward a vertical‐axis turbine. The interaction between wake structure, blade count, and rotational speed governs transient torque production.
