A Modern Roman‐Inspired Concrete with Daytime Radiative Cooling Capacity
Coolcrete, inspired by ancient Roman concrete, is a new cementitious material with photonic properties enabling passive daytime radiative cooling. Made from quicklime and zeolites, it reduces cooling energy demand, lowers CO2 emissions, and may eliminate urban heat islands.

Information theory in high energy physics (extensive and nonextensive approach) [PDF]
The application of information theory approach (both in its extensive and nonextensive versions) to high energy multiparticle processes is discussed and confronted with experimental data on e+e- annihilation processes, pp and \bar{p}p scatterings and ...

Determining the influence of belonging to a wine protected designation of origin on profitability
Abstract To guide consumers, wineries need credible attributes about the quality of their wines and its origin. In Spain, protected designations of origin (PDO) guarantee that the wine has been produced in a certain wine region in accordance with specific and officially regulated quality criteria thus providing elements of guarantee to the consumer ...

Nonextensive hydrodynamics for relativistic heavy-ion collisions
The nonextensive one-dimensional version of a hydrodynamical model for multiparticle production processes is proposed and discussed. It is based on nonextensive statistics assumed in the form proposed by Tsallis and characterized by a nonextensivity ...
