Review of fatigue and fracture research at NASA Langley Research Center [PDF]

open access: yes
Most dynamic components in helicopters are designed with a safe-life constant-amplitude testing approach that has not changed in many years. In contrast, the fatigue methodology in other industries has advanced significantly in the last two decades ...

Solution of the Navier-Stokes equation—I

open access: yesComputers & Mathematics with Applications, 1986
The method presented in this paper is a new one which is also verified computationally. The motive in this paper is to find an analytical solution avoiding the assumptions `weak' and small `perturbation'. No numerical example is presented.

Numerical Modeling of Photothermal Self‐Excited Composite Oscillators

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
We present a numerical framework for simulating photothermal self‐excited oscillations. The driving mechanism is elucidated by highlighting the roles of inertia and overshoot, as well as the phase lag between the thermal moment and the oscillation angle, which together construct the feedback loop between the system state and the environmental stimulus.

Navier's slip condition and magnetic field effects on unsteady stagnation point flow subject to a stretched plate along to viscous dissipation and Joule heating utilizing nanofluids [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
This article mainly addresses Navier's slip boundary condition impact on two-dimensional, unsteady magneto hydrodynamic flow of electrically conducting viscous nanofluids adjacent to stagnation region due to a stretchable wall along to viscous ...

Immune Predictors of Radiotherapy Outcomes in Cervical Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals dynamic immune remodeling in cervical cancer following radiotherapy. Single‐cell analysis identifies the C3/C3AR1 axis as a central mediator of epithelial–myeloid crosstalk, whose inhibition reduces treatment efficacy in mice. Guided by these insights, the eight‐feature machine‐learning model: Cervical Cancer Radiotherapy Immune ...
