Targeted Mitochondrial ECSIT Overexpression Attenuates MASH by Increasing OTUD3 Expression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial ECSIT expression is reduced during MASH pathogenesis. Overexpression of mitochondrial ECSIT mitigates steatohepatitis and maintains hepatic metabolic homeostasis. Mechanistically, ECSIT enhances intramitochondrial OTUD3 expression to stabilize SIRT3 through deubiquitination, thus preserving mitochondrial function and impeding disease ...

Improved accuracy for finite element structural analysis via a new integrated force method [PDF]

open access: yes
A comparative study was carried out to determine the accuracy of finite element analyses based on the stiffness method, a mixed method, and the new integrated force and dual integrated force methods. The numerical results were obtained with the following

Large Anomalous Hall Effect, Non‐Vanishing Berry Curvature in (110) FeRh Antiferromagnet Films via Interface Strain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates a strain‐tunable anomalous Hall response in the (110)‐oriented FeRh thin film. First‐principles calculations reveal that strain‐induced symmetry lowering redistributes Berry curvature near the Fermi level via band shifts and avoided crossings.

Analysis of the transient behavior of rubbing components [PDF]

open access: yes
Finite element equations are developed for studying deformations and temperatures resulting from frictional heating in sliding system. The formulation is done for linear steady state motion in two dimensions.

Immunoaffinity‐Mimetic Assembly of Peptide‐Aptamer Conjugates and Stem Cell‐Derived Exosomes into Hierarchical Microgels for Spinal Cord Injury Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by antibody‐antigen binding, this study develops an unprecedented immunoaffinity‐mimetic assembly strategy, with Peptide‐AptCD63 conjugates acting as antibody surrogates binding CD63 epitopes on mesenchymal stem cell‐derived exosomes. This creates a hierarchical microstructure intended to synergistically integrate antioxidative and anti ...

Damage states in laminated composite three-point bend specimens: An experimental-analytical correlation study [PDF]

open access: yes
Damage states in laminated composites were studied by considering the model problem of a laminated beam subjected to three-point bending. A combination of experimental and theoretical research techniques was used to correlate the experimental results ...

Bioorthogonal Sonodynamic Plug‐and‐Play Targeting Chimeras (SDPTAC) for Precise Targeted Protein Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Bioorthogonal SDPTAC harnesses US‐responsive Ce6‐TCO and Tz ligands via IEDDA click chemistry to assemble degraders in situ, generating ROS that selectively eliminate nuclear, cytosolic, and membrane proteins, thereby suppressing deep‐seated tumors in vivo.
