Generalized Berry Conjecture and mode correlations in chaotic plates
We consider a modification of the Berry Conjecture for eigenmode statistics in wave-bearing systems. The eigenmode correlator is conjectured to be proportional to the imaginary part of the Green's function.

Small size and rotary inertia effects on the natural frequencies of carbon nanotubes
In the present paper, rotary inertia and small size effects on the free vibration response of single-walled carbon nanotubes are examined. The equations in motion and associated boundary conditions are obtained by using Hamilton’s principle on the basis ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

On the deformation of laminated composite and sandwich curved beams
Plenty of research articles are available on the static deformation analysis of laminated straight beams using refined shear deformation theories. However, research on the deformation of laminated curved beams with simply supported boundary conditions is

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Eshelby-Mori-Tanaka and the Extended Mixture Rule Approaches for Nonlocal Vibration of Piezoelectric Nanocomposite Plate with Considering Surface Stress and Magnetic Field Effects [PDF]
In this research, the surface stress effect on the nonlocal vibration of piezoelectric square plate reinforced by single walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) based on classical plate theory (CPT) and first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) is presented ...

Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

Frequency decay for Navier–Stokes stationary solutions
We consider stationary Navier–Stokes equations in R3 with a regular external force and we prove the exponential frequency decay of the solutions. Moreover, if the external force is small enough, we give a pointwise exponential frequency decay for such solutions.

Value of MRI Outcomes for Preventive and Early‐Stage Trials in Spinocerebellar Ataxias 1 and 3
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the value of MRI outcomes as endpoints for preventive and early‐stage trials of two polyglutamine spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). Methods A cohort of 100 participants (23 SCA1, 63 SCA3, median Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) score = 5, 42% preataxic, and 14 gene‐negative controls) was scanned at 3T up ...
