New evidence for the date of the Nazca lines
Antiquity, 1991Surface features that possess no useful stratigraphy and are not, by their own nature, informative about their age, are notoriously hard to date. A study of associations now defines with good confidence the dates of the surface arrangements of stones and of cleared areas that make up some of the celebrated Nazca lines, Peru.

Petrographical and Geochemical Features Coupled with Geophysical Observations on the Nazca Lines
Proceedings, 2012Our study investigates geological features and processes in the vicinity of the Nazca lines. We report a geological overview, the results of petrographical and geochemical analysis at a single test site, the interpretation of the sediment provenance and relations with geophysical observations.
