Predicting Season Outcomes for the NBA

open access: yes, 2022
Predicting game or season outcomes is important for clubs as well as for the betting industry. Understanding the critical factors of winning games and championships gives clubs a competitive advantage when selecting players for the team and implementing winning strategies. In this paper, we work with NBA data from 10 seasons and propose an approach for

Constructing Enzyme‐Inspired Multisite Synergistic Catalyst for Promoting CO2 Electroreduction to Ethylene at pH Universal Condition

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
A rational synthesis strategy was developed to construct enzyme‐inspired Cu‐AM catalysts with well‐defined multisite architectures. This catalytic system enables highly selective electrochemical CO2 reduction to C2H4 under pH‐universal conditions, delivering exceptional Faradaic efficiencies across acidic, neutral, and alkaline electrolytes.

Correlated responses on litter size traits and survival traits after two-stage selection for ovulation rate and litter size in rabbits

open access: yesAnimal, 2019
Farmer profit depends on the number of slaughter rabbits. The improvement of litter size (LS) at birth by two-stage selection for ovulation rate (OR) and LS could modify survival rate from birth to slaughter.

Oligogenic inheritance in epilepsy: A systematic exome‐wide analysis

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Genetic factors contribute to the majority of epilepsies, but the exact genetic cause remains unknown in most patients. Incomplete penetrance and variable expressivity are frequent, and recent studies showed a burden of deleterious variants in epilepsy genes, suggesting a role for oligogenic inheritance.

Synergistic effects of maize defoliation and common bean relay cropping in Western Ethiopia

open access: yesJSFA reports, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Maize defoliation is practiced to enhance crop management by improving light penetration, nutrient allocation, controlling weeds, and providing supplementary feeds for livestock. A rapid decline in soil fertility and low crop yields associated with maize‐based monocropping has prompted the recent introduction of maize common bean ...

Ion Activation Methods for Top‐Down Proteomics

open access: yesMass Spectrometry Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mass spectrometry (MS) has emerged as a premier method used to characterize the sequences of proteins. Top‐down proteomics aims to capture the multiple sources of structural diversity reflected in proteins, such as those that arise from alternative RNA splicing events or the addition of post‐translational modifications. Tandem MS (i.e., MS/MS)
