Operation of JT-60 NBI and NBI system for JT-60 upgrade
IEEE Thirteenth Symposium on Fusion Engineering, 2003The JT-60 JAERI (Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute) Tokamak-60 neutral beam injector (NBI) has been successfully operated for three years, delivering a neutral beam power of 20 MW at a beam energy of 75 keV. The helium-beam injection into JT-60 was performed to investigate exhaustion of fusion alpha particles from the plasma.

Big Data is now becoming a buzz word in information technology industry and research. Is Big Data only about large volume of data? And if it is yes, why is it suddenly becoming a trend. Hasn't the growth of data volume been gigantic in the last decade?

Plasma neutraliser for ITER NBI
Plasma Devices and Operations, 1998Abstract The maximal neutral fraction from the passage of a D beam through a gas, as proposed for a gas neutraliser of reference ITER NBI concept, is 60%. The replacement of the gas neutraliser by a plasma one must increase the maximum neutral yield to 80%. This is an attractive improvement of the ITER NBI system. As the plasma neutraliser must be able

Current opinion in investigational drugs (London, England : 2000), 2006
Neurocrine Biosciences is developing NBI-5788, an analog of an immunodominant epitope of myelin basic protein for the potential intravenous treatment of multiple sclerosis. By April 2005, enrollment for phase II trials was complete, with results expected early in 2006.

NBI-6024 (Neurocrine Biosciences).
IDrugs : the investigational drugs journal, 2003Neurocrine is developing NBI-6024 in collaboration with Taisho, as part of Neurocrine's altered peptide ligand (APL) program, as a potential treatment for type I diabetes. By July 2002, Neurocrine had completed four phase I/II trials of NBI-6024 and the compound was in phase IIb studies in Europe and phase Ib studies in the US.

Cystoscopy and transurethral resection (TUR) using white light (WL) has been used as a standard procedure for diagnosis and treatment of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). However, WL cystoscopy cannot always effectively identify small tumor or high grade flat lesions, carcinoma in situ (CIS). Small tumors can be frequently missed resulting in

Sparse Recovery Based NBI Cancelation
2020As described in Chap. 1, the conventional methods of NBI mitigation in the state-of-the-art research cannot accurately estimate the NBI signal. The “passive” approach of suppressing the NBI makes it difficult to completely eliminate the impacts of the NBI on the system performance.
