Growth of Ce added NBT-BT single crystal by flux method and its characterization

The ferroelectric properties and piezoelectric properties are enhanced by the addition of CeO2 in the 0.94Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3−0.06BaTiO3 (NBT-BT). 0.4 wt% of CeO2 added NBT-BT crystals were grown by flux method. X-ray diffraction studies show that the Ce ion diffuses into the NBT-BT lattice to form a solid solution.

Growth and characterization of undoped and Mn doped lead-free piezoelectric NBT–KBT single crystals

Abstract Lead-free piezoelectric single crystals of undoped and 1 wt% Mn doped 0.80 Na 0.5 Bi 0.5 TiO 3 –0.20 K 0.5 Bi 0.5 TiO 3 (NKBT) was grown using self-flux. Powder X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the grown crystals belong to tetragonal system at room temperature.

Abstract In this paper, one of the important, eco-friendly polycrystalline material, (1− x )(Na 0.5 Bi 0.5 )TiO 3 (NBT) – x BaTiO 3 (BT) of different compositions ( x =0.07, 0.06 and 0.05 wt%) around the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) were synthesized by solid state reaction technique.
