ABSTRACT Background Accurate prediction of the number of sessions required for laser tattoo removal is essential for effective treatment planning and patient counseling. The Kirby–Desai (KD) scale, developed for Q‐switched nanosecond lasers, overestimates treatment sessions when applied to modern picosecond laser technology.

ABSTRACT Background Laser tattoo removal is becoming more popular, with the Q‐switched (QS) 1064‐nm nanosecond laser considered the traditional standard. While the picosecond (PS) 1064‐nm laser offers an alternative for optimizing treatment protocols, comparative data regarding its relative efficacy remain limited and inconsistent.

Native protein complexes often require gentle ionization to preserve weak interactions, yet higher ion yield typically goes hand in hand with increased in‐source dissociation. Our dual‐laser LILBID approach decouples ion production from dissociation by using two independently tunable pulses, enabling sample‐specific soft conditions and expanding access

Abstract Paleoclimate reconstructions of wildfire using ice cores often rely on high‐resolution aerosol records of refractory black carbon (rBC) or ammonium (NH4+). The interpretation of such records, however, can be hindered by uncertainties related to long‐range atmospheric transport, spatial distribution and strength of emissions, as well as ...
