NdNd exchange interaction in Nd2Fe14B

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1996
Abstract A series of intrinsic magnetic properties of Nd2Fe14B measured by previous authors are fitted by the calculations of a combined molecular-field and crystalline electric field approximation. Three sets of fitted parameters are obtained. In addition to the isotropic NdFe exchange interaction, the NdNd exchange interaction and the anisotropy ...

The neutron-deuteron wave functions, nd phases, and nd scattering cross-sections have been calculated for neutron energies below the deuteron breakup threshold. Starting from the modified Faddeev???s equations which have got in our previous paper, the most complicated part of the full wave function describing the three-nucleon motion in the NN ...

Magnetic ordering of Nd in Nd/Y superlattices

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1995
Abstract A series of c-axis Nd/Y superlattices, with Nd layers up to 77 A thick, exhibit magnetic order strikingly different from that of bulk Nd. A portion of the moment in the superlattices orders antiferromagnetically along c ∗ . Neel temperatures are enhanced by ≥ 40% relative to the bulk T N of 19.9 K.
