آلودگی هوای شهری یک نگرانی عمده زیست‌محیطی و بهداشت عمومی در سراسر جهان است. هرروزه بر جمعیت شهر تهران به‌عنوان پایتخت ایران افزوده می‌شود که مشکلاتی از قبیل آلودگی هوا را به دنبال داشته و هرسال بر شدت آن نیز افزوده می‌شود. ازاین‌رو هدف این مطالعه یافتن ارتباط شاخص‌های سنجش‌ازدوری با آلاینده‌های هوا در سطح شهر تهران است.
