Hyperspectral Estimation Model Construction and Accuracy Comparison of Soil Organic Matter Content
Soil organic matter (SOM) is an important source of crop growth, its content can reflect soil fertility status. In order to realize the fast and real-time estimation of the SOM, based on hyperspectral data, a rapid estimation model of SOM content in ...

Escalating wildfire frequency and severity are altering wildland habitats worldwide. Yet investigations into fire impacts on wildlife habitat rarely extend to the macroecological scales relevant to species conservation and global change processes. We evaluate the effects of wildfire on habitat quality and selection by large mammals spanning three ...

Google Earth Engine was utilised to assess snow cover area (SCA) across eight Upper Indus Basin (UIB) subbasins, employing ARIMA for prediction and comparing MODIS datasets using Dunn's test. Spatiotemporal changes were analysed using MK, Sen's slope, and other statistical tests.

Energy Correlation in Above-Threshold Nonsequential Double Ionization at 800 nm
We have investigated the energy correlation of the two electrons from nonsequential double ionization of helium atom in 800 nm laser fields at intensities below the recollision threshold by quantum calculations.

Long‐Term Snow Avalanche Trends in High Mountain Asia: Climatic Drivers and Impacts
Abstract Devastating snow avalanches are frequent in High Mountain Asia (HMA) yet remain undocumented with climate change impact drivers poorly understood. Here we introduce the first record of 60 million avalanche deposits across 10,701 small catchments, compiled from 33 years of Landsat data from 1990 until 2022 using a snow index.

Evaluation of MODIS and VIIRS Cloud-Gap-Filled Snow-Cover Products for Production of an Earth Science Data Record [PDF]
MODerate resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) cryosphere products have been available since 2000 following the 1999 launch of the Terra MODIS and the 2002 launch of the Aqua MODIS and include global snow-cover extent (SCE) (swath, daily, and 8 ...

A comprehensive ecological index MRSEI based on MODIS was proposed. The new indicators of greenness, humidity, and dryness are more applicable to the ecological evaluation of the desertification steppes. The introduction of comprehensive salinity index can effectively reflect the issue of soil salinization. FROM‐TO vector transformation can effectively
