Rotationally Equivariant 3D Object Detection [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
Rotation equivariance has recently become a strongly desired property in the 3D deep learning community. Yet most existing methods focus on equivariance regarding a global input rotation while ignoring the fact that rotation symmetry has its own spatial support.

Molecular and functional profiling unravels targetable vulnerabilities in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We used whole exome and RNA‐sequencing to profile divergent genomic and transcriptomic landscapes of microsatellite stable (MSS) and microsatellite instable (MSI) colorectal cancer. Alterations were classified using a computational score for integrative cancer variant annotation and prioritization.

Challenges in Identifying Artificial Objects in the Near-Earth Object Population: Spectral Characterization of 2020 SO

open access: yesThe Planetary Science Journal
Since the dawn of the Space Age, hundreds of payloads have been launched into heliocentric space. As near-Earth object (NEO) surveys search deeper for small asteroids, more artificial objects in heliocentric orbits are being discovered.

An Object Model for the Representation of Empirical Knowledge [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
We are currently designing an object oriented model which describes static and dynamical knowledge in diff{\'e}rent domains. It provides a twin conceptual level. The internal level proposes: the object structure composed of sub-objects hierarchy, structure evolution with dynamical functions, same type objects comparison with evaluation functions.

Peripheral blood proteome biomarkers distinguish immunosuppressive features of cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Immune status significantly influences cancer progression. This study used plasma proteomics to analyze benign 67NR and malignant 4T1 breast tumor models at early and late tumor stages. Immune‐related proteins–osteopontin (Spp1), lactotransferrin (Ltf), calreticulin (Calr) and peroxiredoxin 2 (Prdx2)–were associated with systemic myeloid‐derived ...

Surface Heterogeneity, Physical, and Shape Model of Near-Earth Asteroid (52768) 1998 OR2

open access: yesThe Planetary Science Journal
On 2020 April 29, the near-Earth object (52768) 1998 OR2 experienced a close approach to Earth at a distance of 16.4 lunar distances (LD). 1998 OR2 is a potentially hazardous asteroid of absolute magnitude H = 16.04 that can currently come as close to ...

Near‐Earth object 2004CK39 and its associated meteor showers

open access: yes, 2012
An investigation of the orbital evolution of near-Earth object 2004CK39, moving on a cometlike orbit, shows that it is a quadruple crosser of the Earth’s orbit.

Stochastic variation in the FOXM1 transcription program mediates replication stress tolerance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cellular heterogeneity is a major cause of drug resistance in cancer. Segeren et al. used single‐cell transcriptomics to investigate gene expression events that correlate with sensitivity to the DNA‐damaging drugs gemcitabine and prexasertib. They show that dampened expression of transcription factor FOXM1 and its target genes protected cells against ...
