Optimal detection of near-earth objects [PDF]
Improved technology and search strategies could significantly increase debris detection rates and tracking accuracies with modest investment. Improving the focal planes of current telescopes could significantly increase detection rates. For large systems, proportional increases in aperture area and array size are appropriate.

T2DM is characterized by peripheral blood insulin resistance and progressive pancreatic β‐cell dysfunction. Here, we showed that AQP7, the only aquaglyceroporin protein, regulates autophagy and apoptosis in pancreatic β‐cells. We propose the existence of a positive feedback loop between MAPK signaling and AQP7 that regulates autophagy and apoptosis in ...

Former 9th and possible future 9th planet in the Solar system
4 terrestrial planets and 4 giant planets were formed in the Solar system. The Main asteroid belt is located between them, and the Kuiper belt and Oort cloud are located beyond the giant planets.

Large-Scale Object Mining for Object Discovery from Unlabeled Video [PDF]
This paper addresses the problem of object discovery from unlabeled driving videos captured in a realistic automotive setting. Identifying recurring object categories in such raw video streams is a very challenging problem. Not only do object candidates first have to be localized in the input images, but many interesting object categories occur ...

We introduce an immunohistochemistry method to measure autophagy flux, highlighting the active degradation and recycling of cellular waste. This cost‐effective approach uses tissue samples to track key markers like LC3 and SQSTM1, revealing how cells maintain health or respond to diseases such as cancer. It bridges the gap between research and clinical

Joint Object and State Recognition using Language Knowledge [PDF]
The state of an object is an important piece of knowledge in robotics applications. States and objects are intertwined together, meaning that object information can help recognize the state of an image and vice versa. This paper addresses the state identification problem in cooking related images and uses state and object predictions together to ...

SLC7A11 frequently migrates faster in SDS‐PAGE. The present study found that the high hydrophobicity of SLC7A11 causes its anomalous migration in SDS‐PAGE with a low concentration of acrylamide gel. Replacing isoleucine with asparagine reduced hydrophobicity and restored its normal migration at 55 kDa, revealing the role of hydrophobicity and gel ...
