Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

Base isolation for near-fault motions

Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics, 2001
AbstractThree analytical studies of base‐isolated structures are carried out. First, six pairs of near‐fault motions oriented in directions parallel and normal to the fault were considered, and the average of the response spectra of these earthquake records was obtained.

Applicability analysis of high-speed railway system under the action of near-fault ground motion

Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, 2020
Studying the applicability of existing bridge and track systems of high-speed railway in near-fault areas is crucial and urgent, because the current seismic design methods seldom consider the characteristics of the near-fault ground motion.
