A Phase‐Separated SR Protein Reprograms Host Pre‐mRNA Splicing to Enhance Disease Susceptibility
This study identifies SR30, a splicing factor, as a negative regulator of tomato immunity. During Phytophthora infestans infection, the elevated SR30 forms nuclear condensates to suppress the alternative splicing (AS) of defense‐related genes in a phase separation manner.

Graphical Enumeration: A Species-Theoretic Approach [PDF]
An operation on species corresponding to the inner plethysm of their associated cycle index series is constructed. This operation, the inner plethysm of species, is generalized to n-sorted species. Polynomial maps on species are studied and used to extend inner plethysm and other operations to virtual species.

The hydrogel incorporates Ag⁺‐loaded Preyssler‐type polyoxometalates (POMs) that release Ag⁺ ions in response to endogenous Na⁺ ions, ensuring controlled antibacterial activity. The spatially heterogeneous structure, created through dual‐channel fiber stacking and in situ cross‐linking, enhances structural integrity and promotes tissue regeneration ...

Prime Graphs and Exponential Composition of Species [PDF]
In this paper, we enumerate prime graphs with respect to the Cartesian multiplication of graphs. We use the unique factorization of a connected graph into the product of prime graphs given by Sabidussi to find explicit formulas for labeled and unlabeled prime graphs.

This study uncovers that CD38high monocytes discriminate sepsis and sterile inflammation and are associated with 28‐day mortality in bacterial sepsis. Targeting CD38 therapy reduces inflammatory response in monocytes and in sepsis mice model. Mechanistically, CD38‐HIF‐1α/glycolysis/MGO loop exacerbates sepsis‐induced immune dysregulation.

In the tripartite‐species model, Drosophila larvae stimulate lactate production through excreting digestion enzymes. S. marcescens population senses a cue of lactate and tends to diverge into virulent and reduced virulence subclusters with remarkable heterogeneity to metabolize carbon metabolism and counter colonization resistance, giving a fitness ...
