NOvA Near Detector

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2007
The NOvA experiment will study sub‐dominant νμ↔νe oscillations using two detectors with 810 km long‐baseline. The NuMI beam energy spectrum is measured by the near detector located at the same off‐axis angle at FNAL where the effects of neutrino oscillations are negligible.

The T2K Near Detectors

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2011
This paper provides a general introduction to the T2K experiment, a description of T2K near detectors (INGRID and ND280), and presents some first results comparing data with Monte Carlo.

Improved Near-Infrared Detectors

Metrologia, 1993
The paper describes the properties of a new large area InGaAs photodiode with near unity internal quantum efficiency. Measurements of linearity, spatial uniformity and dark current of the photodiodes are presented and compared with measurements on germanium photodiodes.

Equalized near maximum likelihood detector

Radioelectronics and Communications Systems, 2012
This paper presents new detector that is used to mitigate intersymbol interference introduced by bandlimited channels. This detector is named equalized near maximum likelihood detector which combines nonlinear equalizer and near maximum likelihood detector.

The T2K Near Detector Upgrade

Proceedings of 41st International Conference on High Energy physics — PoS(ICHEP2022), 2022
The T2K, "Tokai to Kamioka", experiment is a long baseline neutrino oscillation experiment located in Japan and dedicated to the measurements of neutrino oscillations parameters. The muon neutrino beam produced at the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex is measured first by a set of near detectors, and then, after 295 km, by a far water Cherenkov

Near Detector Measurement

2015
The signal mode for \(\nu _\mu \rightarrow \nu _e\) oscillation measurement is the CCQE interaction of \(\nu _e\). A combination of cuts is developed to maximize the signal efficiency and purity and to minimize the contamination of the background interaction modes. The detail of the event selection is described in Sect. 9.1.
