$(\sigma,\tau)$-derivations on prime near rings

open access: yes, 2004
summary:There is an increasing body of evidence that prime near-rings with derivations have ring like behavior, indeed, there are several results (see for example [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] and [8]) asserting that the existence of a suitably-constrained ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Double stop-band structure near half-integer tunes in high-intensity rings

open access: yesPhysical Review Accelerators and Beams, 2016
This paper addresses a detailed experimental study of collective instability bands generated near every half-integer tune per lattice period by coherent dipole and quadrupole resonances.

Semigroup ideal in Prime Near-Rings with Derivations

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2011
In this paper we generalize some of the results due to Bell and Mason on a near-ring N admitting a derivation D , and we will show that the body of evidence on prime near-rings with derivations have the behavior of the ring.

Morphic elements in regular near-rings

open access: yes, 2022
We define morphic near-ring elements and study their behavior in regular near-rings. We show that the class of left morphic regular near-rings is properly contained between the classes of left strongly regular and unit regular near-rings.Comment: 15 ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

RESULTS ON QUOTIENT NEAR-RINGS INVOLVING ADDITIVE MAPS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Systems
We consider N to be a 3-prime field and P to be a prime ideal of N : In this paper, we studythe commutativity of the quotient ring N =P with left multipliers and derivations satisfying certainidentities on P, generalizing some well-known results in the ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Commutativity of near-rings with (σ;τ)-derivations

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2013
In this paper we study some conditions under which a near-ring R admitting a (multiplicative) (σ; τ )-derivation d must be a commutative ring with constrained-suitable conditions on d, σ and τ.
