Criticality in Translation-Invariant Parafermion Chains

open access: yes, 2015
In this work we numerically study critical phases in translation-invariant $\mathbb{Z}_N$ parafermion chains with both nearest- and next-nearest-neighbor hopping terms.

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

ALGORITMA K-NEAREST NEIGHBOR TERHADAP PELUANG MAHASISWA MENJADI AKTIVIS KAMPUS PADA JURUSAN MATEMATIKA UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG

open access: yesJurnal Lebesgue, 2023
The purpose of this study was to predict whether mathematics students at Padang State University have the opportunity to become campus activists using the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm (KNN). This research will be used as a benchmark to calculate how many

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Weak-coupling phase diagrams of bond-aligned and diagonal doped Hubbard ladders

open access: yes, 2005
We study, using a perturbative renormalization group technique, the phase diagrams of bond-aligned and diagonal Hubbard ladders defined as sections of a square lattice with nearest-neighbor and next-nearest-neighbor hopping.

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

Secure Nearest Neighbor Query on Crowd-Sensing Data

open access: yesSensors, 2016
Nearest neighbor queries are fundamental in location-based services, and secure nearest neighbor queries mainly focus on how to securely and quickly retrieve the nearest neighbor in the outsourced cloud server.

Phase diagram of the half-filled one-dimensional t-V-V' model

open access: yes, 2011
We study the phase diagram of spinless fermions with nearest and next-nearest-neighbor interactions in one dimension utilizing the (finite-size) density-matrix renormalization group (DMRG) method. The competition between nearest and next-nearest-neighbor

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
