Spherical k-Nearest Neighbors Interpolation
Geospatial interpolation is a challenging task due to real world data often being sparse, heterogeneous and inconsistent. For that matter, this work presents SkNNI, a spherical interpolation algorithm capable of working with such challenging geospatial data.

IMPROVEMENT OF DEM PRODUCED FROM SRTM90 BY USING MATLAB [PDF]
The main objective of this study was to improve the DEM produced from SRTM90 by using the interpolation methods existing in MATLAB software. There are three types available of interpolations; bicubic, bilinear, and nearest neighbor interpolation methods.

General Data Search Algorithms for Earth Simulation Systems with Cyclic Boundaries
Grid remapping is one of the most fundamental functions in Earth simulation systems, and is essentially a kind of data interpolation. The key to an efficient interpolation method is how to quickly find the relevant grid points required for interpolation.

An Investigation of Interpolation Techniques to Generate 2D Intensity Image From LIDAR Data
Light detection and ranging (LIDAR) has become a part and parcel of ongoing research in autonomous vehicles. LIDAR efficiently captures data during day and night alike; yet, data accuracy is affected in altered weather conditions.

Application of imputation methods for missing values of PM10 and O3 data: Interpolation, moving average and K-nearest neighbor methods [PDF]
Background: PIn air quality studies, it is very often to have missing data due to reasons such as machine failure or human error. The approach used in dealing with such missing data can affect the results of the analysis. The main aim of this study was

Error-reduction approach for corrosion measurements of pipeline inline inspection tools
Inline inspection tools that are used to scan the interior defects of gas and oil pipelines tend to suffer from measuring error due to their sizing accuracy. This error often causes an over- or under-estimation of the operating conditions of the pipeline,

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
