A note on a totally umbilical proper slant submanifold of a nearly Kaehler manifold
In this paper, we study totally umbilical proper slant submanifolds of a nearly Kaehler manifold. We prove that every totally umbilical proper slant submanifold of a nearly Kaehler manifold is totally geodesic.

Generic Riemannian Submersions from nearly K¨aehler Manifolds
We study generic Riemannian submersions from nearly K¨aehler manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds. We investigate conditions for the integrability of various distributions arising for generic Riemannian submersions and also obtain conditions for leaves to be totally geodesic foliations.

Rationale Stable isotope analysis of bone provides insight into animal foraging and allows for ecological reconstructions over time, however pre‐treatment is required to isolate collagen. Pre‐treatments typically consist of demineralization to remove inorganic components and/or lipid extraction to remove fats, but these protocols can differentially ...

AdS$_4$ solutions of massive IIA from dyonic ISO(7) supergravity
Explicit formulae are given for the consistent truncation of massive type IIA supergravity on the six-sphere to the SU(3)--invariant sector of $D=4$ ${\cal N}=8$ supergravity with dyonic ISO(7) gauging.

What Is the Ideal Dimension of Law?
Abstract Various authors have claimed that law has an ideal dimension owed to a claim to correctness. Against this thesis, this article argues that there are several ideal dimensions of law, namely, a moral, a legal, and an ontological one. All of them are independent of a claim to correctness.

Supersymmetric AdS(4) compactifications of IIA supergravity
We derive necessary and sufficient conditions for N=1 compactifications of (massive) IIA supergravity to AdS(4) in the language of SU(3) structures. We find new solutions characterized by constant dilaton and nonzero fluxes for all form fields.

The convenience yield under commodity financialization
Abstract A number of papers have dealt with commodity financialization finding strong evidence for its existence and its effect on commodity prices and volatility. We chose convenience yield (CY) to study the effect of commodity financialization based on the theory of storage and on the argument that CY resembles a call option.

CR-warped product submanifolds of locally conformal Kaehler manifolds [PDF]
In the present paper characterizations in terms of the canonical structures P and F on a CR-submanifold of a locally conformal Kaehler manifold are worked out under which the sub manifold reduces to a CR-warped product ...

A Comparison of Supersymmetry Breaking and Mediation Mechanisms
We give a unified treatment of different models of supersymmetry breaking and mediation from a four dimensional effective field theory standpoint. In particular a comparison between GMSB and various gravity mediated versions of SUSY breaking shows that ...

Yang-Mills Flows on Nearly Kähler Manifolds and G 2-Instantons [PDF]
We consider Lie(G)-valued G-invariant connections on bundles over spaces G/H, RxG/H and R^2xG/H, where G/H is a compact nearly Kaehler six-dimensional homogeneous space, and the manifolds RxG/H and R^2xG/H carry G_2- and Spin(7)-structures, respectively.
