B-completeness in nearness spaces

open access: yesTopology and Its Applications, 1975
Another generalization of the concept of completeness for a nearness space, called B-completeness, is presented. Using B-completeness the generalization of the Niemytzki-Tychonoff theorem is obtained for nearness spaces.

Near Polygroups on Nearness Approximation Spaces

New Mathematics and Natural Computation, 2021
In this paper, we consider the problem of how to establish algebraic structures of near sets on nearness approximation spaces. Essentially, our approach is to define the near polygroup of all weak cosets by considering an hyperoperation on the set of all weak cosets.

Near Compactifications

Mathematische Nachrichten, 1990
This paper uses proximities to obtain near compactifications of topological spaces. Typical of the results is the following theorem. Every Hausdorff almost completely regular space (X,\(\tau\)) has a Hausdorff near compactification \((X^*,{\mathcal T})\) corresponding to each compatible EF-proximity \(\delta\) on its semi-regularization \((X,\tau_ s)\).

Nearness Subgroups

New Mathematics and Natural Computation, 2022
In this paper, we study some concepts of subgroups on weak nearness approximation spaces. We show some properties that are satisfied by usual subgroups are not satisfied in nearness subgroups. In addition to this, it is defined that nearness subgroup generated by a subset on weak nearness approximation spaces.

Near Drowning

International Anesthesiology Clinics, 1977
Several conditions that contribute to drowning and near drowning must be considered in the treatment of near-drowned victims. Regardless of the cause, mechanical ventilation should begin as soon as possible and closed-chest cardiac massage should be administered when there is any question about the adequacy of cardiac output. After aspiration of either

Near-drowning

Pediatrics In Review, 1999
Submersion accidents continue to be a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in children and adults. The key to successful management is prevention of these accidents. Proactive efforts to minimize submersion accidents in the community should be made by medical and legislative groups. Anticipatory guidance by primary care physicians, particularly

Near-hanging

European Journal of Emergency Medicine, 2002
Each year, thousands of people are strangled. Survival from strangulation or hanging is often associated with various complications including a large variety of neurological consequences. As it is common knowledge that the GCS and other initial presenting findings bear a poor correlation to the ultimate outcome, aggressive resuscitation and treatment ...

Nearness isomorphisms of the nearness groups

Asian-European Journal of Mathematics, 2023
The purpose of this paper is to describe the nearness homomorphisms and the canonical nearness epimorphism of the nearness groups and to investigate their basic properties. It is also to form the substructure to give the nearness isomorphism theorems of the nearness groups.
