Effects of Item Parameter Drift on Vertical Scaling With the Nonequivalent Groups With Anchor Test (NEAT) Design

Educational and Psychological Measurement, 2014
The authors explored the effects of drifting common items on vertical scaling within the higher order framework of item parameter drift (IPD). The results showed that if IPD occurred between a pair of test levels, the scaling performance started to deviate from the ideal state, as indicated by bias of scaling.

NEAT: Nurse Effort Assessment Tool—Human Factors Considerations in Designing for Appropriate Staffing

Proceedings of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Annual Meeting
This research has developed an algorithm to measure behavioral health acuity that relies predominantly on patient-level information from electronic health records (EHRs) but also has nurse-input-driven parameters contributing to the tool, known as the Nurse Effort Assessment Tool (NEAT).

Design and Synthesis of Immobilized Iridium Complexes and Their Catalytic Application in Neat Formic Acid Dehydrogenation

The main target of this thesis is to synthesize, investigate, and explore the chemistry and reactivity of immobilized catalysts. The focus will be on iridium complexes as well-defined catalysts for developing selective heterogeneous catalysts. Chapter 1 provides a comprehensive overview of catalysis, introducing the different immobilization techniques.
