ABSTRACT Social identity theories explain how identities intertwine with individuals' choices and behaviours. Simultaneously, an institutional context imposes constraints on people's agency due to the norms, habits and expectations it engrains. This is the case in the artistic realm, where numerous categorization norms remain implicit.

On the normative roles of biodiversity and naturalness in conservation
Abstract Nature is an opaque concept. Consequently, the term biodiversity conservation has replaced nature conservation in most conservation contexts. We review the conceptual indeterminacies that plague the terms nature and natural but then show that comparable difficulties plague biodiversity.

Key Points PEEK tubing has been observed to adsorb Pd and Pt ions, resulting in significantly reduced recoveries of Pd and Pt elements. HPA‐S provides a more effective dissolution for meteorite samples than Carius tube digestion, resulting in higher mass fractions for PGE.

The progress in the search for proto-planetary nebulae (PPN) in the last 5 years is reviewed. An observational definition of PPN is developed and a list of current PPN candidates is given. The optical, infrared, and radio properties of PPN are summarized and compared with theoretical models.
