Flow‐Driver‐Generated Synchronized Nasal Intermittent Positive‐Pressure Ventilation Versus Biphasic Positive Airway Pressure After Extubation in Preterm Infants

open access: yesPediatric Pulmonology, Volume 60, Issue 12, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of flow‐driver‐generated synchronized nasal intermittent positive‐pressure ventilation (SNIPPV) and biphasic positive airway pressure (BiPAP) after extubation in preterm infants. Hypothesis SNIPPV delivered via a flow‐driver device improves post‐extubation outcomes compared with non‐synchronized ...

Maternal and infant outcomes of planned mode of delivery in twin pregnancies: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, Volume 104, Issue 12, Page 2226-2236, December 2025.
In twin pregnancies, planned cesarean delivery offered marginal neonatal benefits but increased maternal surgical risks. With mortality and most outcomes comparable between approaches, decisions should be guided by individualized counseling rather than a single preferred mode of birth.
