Adhesion of Nectria haematococca macroconidia
Physiological and Molecular Plant Pathology, 1989Abstract Prior to germ tube emergence, macroconidia of the squash pathogen Nectria haematococca mating population I (anamorph, Fusarium solani f. sp. cucurbitae race 1) attach to polystyrene. We developed a radiological assay to quantify spore adhesion and to study the attachment process. Macroconidia adhere when harvested and allowed to attach at 24

MORPHOLOGY OF NECTRIA HAEMATOCOCCA
American Journal of Botany, 1971Ascocarp development in Nectria haematoccocca begins with the formation of deeply staining coils as lateral branches of the vegetative hyphae. As these coils develop into multicellular, multi‐nucleate ascogonia, they are surrounded by a pseudoparenchymatous envelope.

Cytoplasmic Variation in Nectria stenospora
Nature, 1958DURING an investigation of the suitability of Nectria stenospora Berk, and Br. for the study of fungal variation, a case of cytoplasmic variation occurred which, at first appearance, closely simulated a gene-controlled effect.

Anhydrofusarubin lactol from Nectria haematococca
Phytochemistry, 1989Abstract Anhydrofusarubin lactol has been isolated from the fungus Nectria haematococca and identified on the basis of its spectral properties, the formation of derivatives and a partial synthesis from fusarubin. Its biological origin is discussed.

Coprophilous isolates of Nectria coccinea
Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1965Isolates of Nectria coccinea (Pers. ex Fr.) Fr. have been obtained from horse and rabbit dung. On dung and in culture these isolates are astromatic. Mature perithecia appear in culture within 21 days, together with Cylindncarpon conidia.

Nectria and Fusarium. 1. Nectria setofusariae and its anamorph Fusarium setosum
Canadian Journal of Botany, 1989The new species Nectria setofusariae and its anamorph Fusarium setosum are described and illustrated. Fusarium setosum is placed in the new section Fusarium sect. Setofusarium. The relationship of Nectria setofusariae to other species of Nectria and Fusarium is discussed.

The Myxomyceticolous Species of Nectria
Mycologia, 1973SUMMARY A key to the five species of Nectria that develop on sporangia or aethalia of Myxomycetes and a description of each species and its imperfect state (when known) are given. Two new species, Nectria hirsuta and Nectria sporangiicola, are described. Nectria myxomyceticola nom. nov. (Hypomyces exiguus Pat.), Nectria candicans (Plowr.) comb.
