A new species of Sarcopodium (Hypocreales, Nectriaceae) from China
Phytotaxa, 2021A new species, Sarcopodium tibetense, is described on rotten stem base of maize straw from the Tibet Autonomous Region. The anatomy of perithecia, which covered with septate, curved hairs on the surface, striate ascospores, and penicillate conidiophores indicate that the fungus belongs to Sarcopodium.

Chaetopsina aquatica sp. nov. (Hypocreales, Nectriaceae) from the River Nile, Egypt
Phytotaxa, 2021A new species, Chaetopsina aquatica, collected from the River Nile, Sohag, Egypt, is described and illustrated. Phylogenetic analyses of the combined ITS and LSU rDNA placed the new species within Chaetopsina as a phylogenetically distinct species. Morphological and molecular studies of Gliocephalotrichum collections from rain forest leaf litter in French Guyana revealed the occurrence of two undescribed species, described here as G. bacillisporum and G. longibrachium. Both species have a whorl of sterile stipe extensions directly subtending the conidiogenous penicilli.
