Three new holomorphic species of Volutella (Nectriaceae, Hypocreales) from Saül (French Guiana)

2022
Three new species of Volutella are described and illustrated based on specimens collected in French Guiana. These species are placed in Volutella based on morphological characteristics of the sexual morph, asexual morph obtained in culture and phylogenetic comparison of ITS and LSU sequences with known species of Volutella, leading us to propose V ...

Nectriatide, a Potentiator of Amphotericin B Activity from Nectriaceae sp. BF-0114

Journal of Natural Products, 2019
A new compound, designated nectriatide (1), was isolated as a potentiator of amphotericin B (AmB) activity against Candida albicans from the culture broth of Nectriaceae sp. BF-0114. This structure was elucidated based on spectroscopic analyses (1D and 2D NMR data), chemical methods, and total synthesis.

Pleiocarpon gardiennetii (Nectriaceae), a new holomorphic species from French Guiana

2019
Pleiocarpon gardiennetii sp. nov. is described and illustrated based on a collection on a dead pyrenolichen, Astrothelium sp. (Trypetheliaceae), in French Guiana. The cylindrocarpon-like asexual morph of this fungus was obtained in culture and a rDNA ITS sequence was likewise obtained from this fungus.

Chaetopsina pnagiana (Nectriaceae, Hypocreales), a new holomorphic species from Saül (French Guiana)

2020
A new species of Chaetopsina is described and illustrated from a collection in French Guiana. Based on morphological divergences of both sexual and asexual morphs from known Chaetopsina species as well as phylogenetic analyses of ITS and LSU sequences, C. pnagiana is proposed as new species.

A new species of Microcera (Nectriaceae) from Zhejiang Province, China

Phytotaxa
The genus Microcera belonging to the family Nectriaceae, includes fungi that cause diseases in both fruit trees and scale insects. During our investigation of pathogens and insects on economically important plants in Zhejiang Province, China, a nectriaceous fungus with flame-like conidiomata was found associated with the bark of Rosaceae plants and the
