Frequency domain iterative feedforward/feedback tuning for MIMO ANVC
A new iterative feedback/feed-forward tuning (IFFT) method is presented for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) control systems that relies on efficient computation of the negative gradient of the controller cost function in the frequency domain.

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

This study presents a reversible temperature sensor with high switching ratio, ∼103. The device is fabricated using PET‐ITO and carbon nanotube dispersions in alkane. Considering its application in cold chain logistics, a proof‐of‐concept with LED is showcased. Thus, a temperature drop below the threshold temperature (crystallization temperature of the

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Some remarks on positive/negative feedback
In the context of linear control systems, a commonly-held intuition is that negative and positive feedback cannot both be stability enhancing. The canonical linear prototype is the scalar system $\dot x=u$ which, under negative linear feedback $u=-kx$ ($k >0$) is exponentially stable for all $k >0 $, whereas the lack of exponential instability of

A reconfigurable logic‐in‐memory cell composed of triple‐gated feedback field‐effect transistors implements multiple combinational logic functions within a single configuration. By utilizing program gates as dynamic input terminals, the proposed cell performs full adder, full subtractor, 2‐to‐1 multiplexer, and 4‐to‐2 encoder operations without ...

When overconfident traders meet feedback traders [PDF]
In this paper, we develop a model in which overconfident market participants and rational speculators trade against trend-chasers. We exhibit the unique linear equilibrium and assess the quality of prices according to the proportion of the different ...
