Event-related potentials in clinical research: guidelines for eliciting, recording, and quantifying mismatch negativity, P300, and N400.

open access: yesClinical Neurophysiology, 2009
This paper describes recommended methods for the use of event-related brain potentials (ERPs) in clinical research and reviews applications to a variety of psychiatric and neurological disorders.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

The negative skycube

open access: yesInformation Systems, 2020
Abstract Multidimensional data analysis has attracted a lot of research efforts during past years. One of the aspects that has been addressed so far is that to allow users to analyze their data from different perspectives, each of which corresponds to a selected subset of dimensions.

The "Excess of Negativity": Death Drive in Suzan-Lori Parks's Father Comes Home from the Wars

open access: yesCritical Literary Studies, 2020
The work of Slavoj Žižek includes the highly arguable concepts towards the re-articulation of the Lacanian notion of the death drive. This paper presents an expository trend joining the fragmentary depictions of the death drive inSuzan-Lori Parks's play ...

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Negativity in Painting [PDF]

open access: yes
This combined theory/practice research project investigates and mobilises negativity in painting. The written thesis does so by developing an interpretive method which identifies two de-subjectifying signifying processes in paintings, called poetic ...

Covariant holographic entanglement negativity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We propose a covariant holographic conjecture for the entanglement negativity of mixed states in bipartite systems described by $d$-dimensional conformal field theories dual to bulk non static $AdS_{d+1}$ configurations. Application of our conjecture to $

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Sensory auditory processing and intuitive sound detection : an investigation of musical experts and nonexperts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The auditory system can detect occasional changes (deviants) in acoustic regularities without the need for subjects to focus their attention on the sound material.
