Neimark–Sacker Bifurcation of Discrete Fractional Chaotic Systems

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos
Fractional chaotic maps have been recently proposed to describe long-memory effects. However, their bifurcation analysis is complicated. This paper considers a linearized system and introduces necessary and sufficient conditions of Neimark–Sacker (N–S) bifurcation by complex analysis method.

Flip bifurcation and Neimark–Sacker bifurcation in a discrete predator–prey model with harvesting

International Journal of Biomathematics, 2019
In this paper, a difference-algebraic predator–prey model is proposed, and its complex dynamical behaviors are analyzed. The model is a discrete singular system, which is obtained by using Euler scheme to discretize a differential-algebraic predator–prey model with harvesting that we establish.

Control of Neimark-Sacker Bifurcation in One Cycle Controlled Cuk Converters

2020 IEEE 29th International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), 2020
One cycle controlled Cuk converters are prone to exhibit slow-scale oscillations caused by Neimark-Sack bifurcation in the input stage of the converter. In this paper, sampled-data model is applied to analyze the dynamics of Cuk converters. And a novel control method is presented for eliminating the bifurcation from the perspective of improving the ...

Neimark-Sacker bifurcation and control of a discrete epidemic model

2010 2nd International Asia Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics (CAR 2010), 2010
In this paper, a discrete epidemic model with nonlinear incidence rate obtained by the forward Euler method is investigated. The conditions of existence for Neimark-Sacker bifurcation are derived by using bifurcation theory. In order to eliminate the Neimark-Sacker bifurcation of the discrete epidemic model, a tracking controller is designed such that ...

A FREQUENCY-ANALYTIC APPROACH FOR CONTROLLING NEIMARK-SACKER BIFURCATIONS

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2006
Abstract A frequency-analytic methodology for controlling the amplitudes and stability of Neimark-Sacker bifurcations exhibited by discrete-time systems is presented. The proposed controller consists of a nonlinear static feedback law and a highpass filter used to preserve the dynamical behaviors of the system's equilibria.

Global stability and Neimark-Sacker bifurcation of a host-parasitoid model

International Journal of Systems Science, 2016
We investigate qualitative behaviour of a density-dependent discrete-time host-parasitoid model. Particularly, we study boundedness of solutions, existence and uniqueness of positive steady-state, local and global asymptotic stability of the unique positive equilibrium point and rate of convergence of modified host-parasitoid model.
