Neimark-Sacker bifurcation and control of a discrete epidemic model
2010 2nd International Asia Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics (CAR 2010), 2010In this paper, a discrete epidemic model with nonlinear incidence rate obtained by the forward Euler method is investigated. The conditions of existence for Neimark-Sacker bifurcation are derived by using bifurcation theory. In order to eliminate the Neimark-Sacker bifurcation of the discrete epidemic model, a tracking controller is designed such that ...

A FREQUENCY-ANALYTIC APPROACH FOR CONTROLLING NEIMARK-SACKER BIFURCATIONS
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2006Abstract A frequency-analytic methodology for controlling the amplitudes and stability of Neimark-Sacker bifurcations exhibited by discrete-time systems is presented. The proposed controller consists of a nonlinear static feedback law and a highpass filter used to preserve the dynamical behaviors of the system's equilibria.

In this paper, we consider the dynamics of a certain class of host-parasitoid models, where some hosts are completely free from parasitism either with or without a spatial refuge and the host population is governed by the Beverton–Holt equation.

Stability and Neimark–Sacker bifurcation of a ratio‐dependence predator–prey model
Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2017In this paper, stability and bifurcation of a two‐dimensional ratio‐dependence predator–prey model has been studied in the close first quadrant . It is proved that the model undergoes a period‐doubling bifurcation in a small neighborhood of a boundary equilibrium and moreover, Neimark–Sacker bifurcation occurs at a unique positive equilibrium.

Supercritical Neimark‐Sacker bifurcation of a discrete‐time Nicholson‐Bailey model
Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2018We study the local dynamics and supercritical Neimark‐Sacker bifurcation of a discrete‐time Nicholson‐Bailey host‐parasitoid model in the interior of . It is proved that if α>1, then the model has a unique positive equilibrium point , which is locally asymptotically focus, unstable focus and nonhyperbolic under certain parametric condition ...
