ABSTRACT The present study aimed to quantify pesticide residues in environmental matrices and plasma and to evaluate their potential effects on oxidative stress and DNA damage in rural populations of Santa Fe province. Soil and rainwater samples were collected, and biological samples and semistructured surveys were obtained from volunteers in three ...

Evaluation of Anthelmintic and Anti-Inflammatory Activity of 1,2,4-Triazole Derivatives
Parasitic diseases, caused by intestinal helminths, remain a very serious problem in both human and veterinary medicine. While searching for new nematicides we examined a series of 1,2,4-triazole derivatives 9–22, obtained during reactions of N3 ...

SYN‐A, a naturally derived synergist, inhibited key metabolic pathways associated with pyrethroid insecticide resistance in cabbage stem flea beetle (CSFB) and its parasitoid Microctonus brassicae. SYN‐A restored pyrethroid efficacy against resistant CSFB allowing up to 80% reduction in application rates.

Nematicidal Effect of Root-knot Nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) by Biological Nematicide
An nematophagous fungi Arthrobotrys thaumasia Nema-1 and Pseudomonas putida C-5, which degrade the collagen and gelatin, was isolated from controlled horticultural soils in Seonnam-myun, Sungju-gun, Kyungpook and Woosung-myun, Gongju-shi, Chungnam to develop biological nematode pesticide. When of A.

A nematicidal metabolite from Verticillium chlamydosporium
A bioassay-directed fractionation of cultures of the fungus, Verticillium chlamydosporium, demonstrated nematicidal activity, due mainly to phomalactone. Compared with aldicarb, the lethal activity against Meloidogyne incognita was less, but its activity in suppressing root invasion was similar. The extract also contained monorden.

ABSTRACT Global food demand is predicted to rise anywhere from 59% to 98% by 2050 because of increasing population. However, the continued depletion of natural resources and increasing biotic and abiotic stresses will continue to pose significant threats to global food security in coming years.

Meloidogyne incognita impairs eggplant growth through gall formation with changes in root cell wall components and vascular tissue disruption, while the biocontrol agent Purpureocillium lilacinum mitigates these effects by reducing nematode infection. Abstract Meloidogyne spp. induce structural changes during the development of root‐knot galls, leading
