Journal of Japan Society of Civil Engineers Ser D1 (Architecture of Infrastructure and Environment), 2012 本研究では，新機能主義と呼ばれる形態的に特徴のある橋梁の外観に対して人々がどのような形態に注目し，また評価を行うのかを明らかとすることを最終目標とし，その第一段階として橋梁形式を下路アーチ形式に限定し，その評価構造を実験心理学的に明らかにすることを目的としている．そこで，この橋梁デザインを特徴づける力の流れや動きの印象を動的イメージと定義し，それにかかわる部材形状を変化させたCGを用いて感性評価実験を行い，ラフ集合理論を用いて分析し，橋梁の形態的特徴の組みあわせと印象の関係を把握した．その結果，橋梁観察者の知識背景と関連した複数の評価傾向を見出すとともに，各々の評価傾向の具体的な特徴を示すことが出来た．
