Effectiveness of conservation lands in Mexico for safeguarding terrestrial endemic species from the human‐induced extinction crisis

Across 1639 endemic Mexican species, we show that most species' ranges coincide with moderate to high human pressure, while existing conservation lands cover only a small fraction of their distributions.
