La sepoltura del Neolitico antico di Torre Sabea
2003Vengono illustrati i dati relativi ad una sepoltura di adulto deposto in fossa coperta di pietre, rinvenuta nel 1997 ai margini dell’insediamento neolitico. Il tipo di struttura tombale si avvicina a quelli noti nelle località di Samari e Balsignano ; molto interessante è la presenza di una fossetta colma di cariossidi di grano e orzo presso l’inumato.

The paper aims to present an update on the phenomenon of vase with anthropomorphic motif of the Early Neolithic in Northern Italy. In order to understand the intercultural contacts at the end of the VI millennium BC and the origin of this tradition in the area, the formal elements and the chronologies of some finds are highlighted.
