Selective Catalytic Production of Urea: Unravelling the Pairwise Competition on p‐d Alloy Catalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Unraveling the complicated competition in urea electrosynthesis, this work investigates asymmetric p‐d alloys. We establish two stage‐specific descriptors, Anchoring Affinity and Coupling Propensity, to elegantly quantify thermodynamic bottlenecks.

In Situ Alkali Metal Exfoliation‐Coupled Dilute CO2 Electrolysis to Synthesize Interlayer‐Expanded Graphite for High‐Rate Lithium Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Converting CO2 into advanced carbon materials capable of meeting the rapid lithium storage demands of lithium‐ion batteries creates a mutually beneficial scenario for both energy and environmental sectors. Here, we propose a stepwise CO2 electrolysis approach to transform dilute CO2 into interlayer‐expanded graphite using molten salt electrolyzers ...

Heat Stress Promotes Fibroblast‐Derived WNT5A Secretion Through m6A Modification to Activate Melanogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Heat stress promotes WNT5A secretion from fibroblasts via METTL3/YTHDC1‐dependent m6A methylation. Subsequently, WNT5A binds to FZD10 on melanocytes, activating β‐catenin‐driven melanogenesis. ABSTRACT As the impact of global warming continues to intensify, the effects of heat stress on the skin are becoming increasingly evident.

Breaking the Kinetics–Loading Trade‐Off in Zinc‐Ion Hybrid Capacitors Through Synergistic Electron–Ion Transport Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐mass‐loading carbon cathodes are essential for practical zinc‐ion hybrid capacitors but suffer from severe transport limitations. By combining low‐tortuosity freeze‐dried pore channels with carbon nanotube conductive networks, simultaneous optimization of ion and electron transport is achieved, enabling high‐rate, long‐life pouch cells and ...

Long‐Chain Molecule Reconstruction of Novel Solvation Structure to Stabilize Zinc Metal Anode

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Triethylene glycol diacetate (TGD), with unique long‐chain characteristics and rich oxygen‐containing functional groups, was used as an electrolyte additive to reconstruct the solvation structure. TGD can reduce the erosion of H2O molecules on the Zn anode, effectively homogenize the electric field distribution. Therefore, the Zn//Zn symmetric cell can

Studies on Counter Electrode Materials in Aqueous Zinc Half‐Cell Configurations

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Coulombic efficiency is a key metric for zinc reversibility in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries, but its reliability in zinc half‐cells is strongly influenced by poorly understood counter‐electrode materials. By systematically comparing Cu, Ti, stainless steel, and Al to identify reactions associated with current collectors, we find that Ti is the metal ...
