Differential scattering of metastable neon on neon
Journal of Physics B: Atomic and Molecular Physics, 1977Differential elastic scattering cross sections for a beam of metastable neon (Ne*) incident on ground-state Ne atoms have been measured in the centre-of-mass energy range 7-53 eV. Two peaks identified as rainbow maxima were observed at tau =E theta approximately=45 and 67 eV deg.

Transverse Diffusion of Neon Ions in Neon
1990The ratio DT/μ between the transverse diffusion coefficient and the mobility for 20Ne+ions in neon has been determined from the variance of directly measured transverse current density distributions of mass analyzed ions at 294 K and 20 ≤ E/No≤ 2000 Td using a variable length drift tube mass spectrometer.
