This chapter begins by discussing the symptoms of gastrointestinal pathology in neonates, and defines the main examples (vomiting, issues with the abdominal wall, the abnormal passage of meconium, and gastrointestinal bleeding). Systemic effects of gastrointestinal pathologies are then explained.
