Drastic decline of extensive grassland species in Central Europe since 1950: Forester moths of the genus Jordanita (Lepidoptera, Zygaenidae) as a type example. [PDF]
Jordanita species (Lepidoptera) as a proxy for grassland species in general show a strong decline in Central Europe since 1950 which is mainly related to changing agricultural landuse and destruction of habitats. This article reviews thousands of observations, shows the decline and discusses the reasons in detail.

The early onset of foraging induced by a chronical application of flupyradifurone could be disadvantageous for honeybee colonies, reducing the period of in‐hive tasks and life expectancy of individuals. Radio‐frequency identification technology is a valuable tool for studying pesticide effects on lifetime foraging behaviour of insects.
