Sinonasal non-intestinal type adenocarcinoma (non-ITAC) is a heterogeneous category that may benefit from improved taxonomy. With the recognition that most non-ITAC are phenotypically seromucinous, stratification may be improved by applying salivary type morphologic criteria and molecular findings.
