Resilience of floral scent emission after florivory
Florivory is thought to affect floral traits, impacting pollination. However, our data suggest a stability in post‐florivory scent emission, which may guarantee the maintenance of pollinator visitation regardless of florivory, indicating a resilience of natural systems with multiple and simultaneous interactions. Abstract Introduction Giant tortoises are critical for restoring lost ecological interactions on islands. Following their extinction in Seychelles centuries ago, key ecosystem processes like seed dispersal, browsing, and nutrient cycling were disrupted.

ABSTRACT In recent years, a wide array of tools originally developed for molecular dating analyses has been adapted for use within a morphological clock perspective. This is of paramount relevance for taxonomic groups that cannot be sampled in forms suitable for DNA extraction.

ABSTRACT Understanding Neotropical megadiversity remains challenging due to fundamental taxonomic issues, including identifying and describing cryptic species and their distribution, and the limited knowledge of key factors driving biological diversification. Such challenges are especially prominent in diverse clades with high levels of cryptic species,

Morphological, Molecular, and Isotopic Approaches to Termite Ecology: A Mangrove Case Study
Termite communities in Caribbean mangroves, though species‐poor, sustain crucial decomposition and nutrient cycling. Their overlapping niches and stochastic assembly highlight termites' resilience and ecological importance in supporting the functioning of these challenging coastal ecosystems.
