Abstract What does this intravenous urogram show? The lower poles of the kidneys are united by a bridge of tissue, which is parenchymal in 90% and fibrous tissue in 10%. The kidneys are lower in the abdomen than usual. The orientation of the kidneys is abnormal, the lower poles being more medially sited than the upper poles.
