Gardnerella vaginalis bacteremia in an elderly healthy male
Gardnerella vaginalis is an anaerobic gram variable organism, which commonly causes bacterial vaginosis in women. It is uncommon for this organism to cause a urinary tract infection in males. We present a case of G. vaginalis bacteremia in the setting of

Uranus and Neptune: Shape and Rotation [PDF]
Both Uranus and Neptune are thought to have strong zonal winds with velocities of several hundred meters per second. These wind velocities, however, assume solid-body rotation periods based on Voyager 2 measurements of periodic variations in the planets' radio signals and of fits to the planets' magnetic fields; 17.24h and 16.11h for Uranus and Neptune,

Further Investigations of Dust Grain Orbital Behavior Around Neptune [PDF]
Dust grain orbital behavior around Neptune is investigated using a fifth order Runge-Jutta method.

Internal carotid artery pseudoaneurysm presenting as a peritonsillar abscess
Carotid artery pseudoaneurysms are a rare pediatric entity and typically present with bleeding, nerve involvement due to impingement, or as a pulsatile neck mass. We present a 14-year-old male with a history of recent orthodontic placement, who exhibited

Neptune migration model with one extra planet [PDF]
We explore conventional Neptune migration model with one additional planet of mass at 0.1-2.0 Me. This planet inhabited in the 3:2 mean motion resonance with Neptune during planet migration epoch, and then escaped from the Kuiper belt when Jovian planets parked near the present orbits. Adding this extra planet and assuming the primordial disk truncated

The Size Distribution of the Neptune Trojans and the Missing Intermediate Sized Planetesimals [PDF]
We present an ultra-deep survey for Neptune Trojans using the Subaru 8.2-m and Magellan 6.5-m telescopes. The survey reached a 50% detection efficiency in the R-band at 25.7 magnitudes and covered 49 square degrees of sky. This depth corresponds to Neptune Trojans that are about 16 km in radius (assuming an albedo of 0.05). A paucity of smaller Neptune

Subacute Stroke in a Young Female: A Case of Moyamoya Syndrome Initially Anchoring with Anxiety
Moyamoya disease is an arterial disorder causing stroke in a young patient. This is a chronic condition causing progressive cerebrovascular disease due to bilateral stenosis and occlusion of the arteries around the circle of Willis, with prominent ...

The Evidence for Slow Migration of Neptune from the Inclination Distribution of Kuiper Belt Objects [PDF]
Much of the dynamical structure of the Kuiper belt can be explained if Neptune migrated over several AU, and/or if Neptune was scattered to an eccentric orbit during planetary instability. An outstanding problem with the existing formation models is that the distribution of orbital inclinations they predicted is narrower than the one inferred from ...
