ARCADE OF FLEXOR DIGITORUM SUPERFICIALIS MUSCLE: ANATOMICAL STUDY AND CLINICAL IMPLICATIONS [PDF]
Objective: The arcade of the flexor digitorum superficialis muscle (FDS) is an anatomical structure which has not yet been widely studied and is a site of nerve compression.

Endoscopically assisted nerve decompression of rare nerve compression syndromes at the upper extremity [PDF]
Background: Besides carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome, other nerve compression or constriction syndromes exist at the upper extremity. This study was performed to evaluate and summarize our initial experience with endoscopically assisted ...

In a lumbar spine instability model, dorsal root ganglion cells mediate the perception of relevant mechanical stresses through Piezo2 and subsequently release CGRP. CGRP activates the NF‐κB signaling pathway in cartilage endplate cells through the receptor RAMP1.

The humeral origin of the brachioradialis muscle: An unusual site of high radial nerve compression
Radial nerve compression is seldom encountered in the upper arm, and most commonly described compression syndromes have their anatomical cause in the forearm.

A Central Somatic Transmission Mediates Proprioceptive Facilitation of Muscle Pain
Zhang et al. uncover a novel central mechanism for persistent muscle pain, in which TRPA1 sensitization in MeV proprioceptive neurons enhances somatic secretion. This, in turn, disinhibits descending pain control from neighboring noradrenergic locus coeruleus neurons via local GABAergic circuits, thereby promoting inflammatory muscle pain.
